Teachers
based in the United States
Teachers
based in the United States may belong to two categories:
- Teachers
who received their education, training and license from the Philippines
but who are now either U.S. citizens or resident aliens.
- Teachers
who received their education, training and license from the Philippines
but who are here as tourists.
For U.S.
citizens or resident aliens, you still have to follow the basic steps
as found in the link Teachers based
in the Philippines. However, you need not fulfill the requirements
as set by the Philippine Overseas Employment Administration.
For Filipino
teachers who are here as tourists, we do not recommend that you seek
employment as a teacher in the United States requiring the conversion
of your I-94 to a Notice of Action for an H-1b visa. Instead, we shall
be glad to recommend courses of action that you should take. If you
belong to this category, e-mail: Director@philippineteachers.com.
